So I thought I would bestow upon you the secret to a killer tuna melt.From my experience, most people either love tuna melts or the don’t. I do. I love tuna sandwiches but they get boring quick. Here is my tips to make a killer tuna melt… keep in mind that THIS IS NOT A RECIPE since most people have thier own tuna sandwich mix.
*After mixing your tuna, mayo and other accoutrements mix in some shredded cheese too. The type is up to you but I have used mozzerella since it melts really well and has a mild flavor.
*Instead of using butter or oil schmear a little, thin, THIN layer of mayo on the outside of bread slices before grilling or cooking in a pan. You won’t need to add any cooking lubricants and it adds a little extra flavor while providing an amazing crust.
