I have compiled a list of a few of my Twitter friends who are also designers and their work spaces. It’s fun to see how other designers organize the space where they spend so much time. I have also included mine!

I’m a graphic designer that works with both web and print. I also run a design blog called The Design O’Blog http://thedesignoblog.com
I love my little workspace! It’s where all the Design O’Blog action happens
I like to surround myself with my favorite things when I’m working: Cool Posters, paintings of bananas, a picture of my girlfriend, and all my design books. The only thing I dislike about my workspace is the size of it. I have no where to put my printer and scanner!

I’m a micro-solo-momprenuer. I am a Graphic Designer. I’m Canadian. I have 2 young boys (2&6) and an amazing husband of 10yrs. I live in a small town of 1000 people, 2-3 hrs from the larger urban centres of Toronto, Kitchener & London. I love design in all forms but tend to gravitate towards natural settings especially water.
I work in a designated heritage building, in a small rural town in Ontario. I share my workspace with a Book Keeper. The building was originally a Bank & Jeweler’s so there is a very large Vault with a 2800 Lb solid steel door in the office. You can see lots of picture of my workspace on my Blog: http://keylimecreative.ca/2008/11/07/office-pictures/

I’m a Graphics student at the Winchester School of Art in my second year of three years. On the course I’ve specialized in Graphic Arts and Design and in the use of Final Cut Pro.
For my second year I’ve moved into a rented house and got the biggest room to fit all my stuff in. It’s a pretty hectic desk with a Vista machine powering two displays, two printers and delivering on my thirst for gaming, plus a MacBook Pro. Also on show is my Sony A100 DSLR and my newest toy, a Canon HV30 camcorder.
Kostandinos

Painter and designer living in metro Detroit seeking full-time employment.
This is the basement lair of Kostandinos and suedecrush. My laptop is a 17″ Dell Inspiron. XP maxed out w/2GB of RAM. I’d like a Mac, but until then the Dell gets me by. I use an 80GB LaCie Rugged portable external hard drive. I’ve since added an Epson R1800 printer – which I absolutely love! Other than that, you’ll notice all kinds of music and sports stuff around the room. This is only one corner of the room, but you get the idea.

On any given day you will find in my workspace a Viewsonic 22″ monitor, Copperhead mouse, Wacom 9×12 Intuos3 and a pencup with glowsticks in it. You may have also noticed the Warcraft boxes – Im on Bleeding Hollow, name is Mahanda – hit me up.

I to use the Copperhead have a great fondness for the Nvidia (I call it color scheme) and my most recent project is located at http://www.hyperpcs.com/social (I like the leaf) it’s about the only thing besides the black that jives with my site. Figured if I followed experienced designers perhaps just perhaps I may learn something. cheers.
Holy crap!
